Greetings, I am a high-school student and at the end of the termI will have my exams in algebra. I was never very good in math, but now I am worried that I will fail this course. I came across proportions worksheet and some other algebra problems that I can’t figure out. the following topics really made me panic: function definition and evaluating formulas .Getting a tutor is not an option for me, because I don't have that kind of money. Please help me!! |

Sounds like your bases are not clear. Excelling in proportions worksheet requires that your concepts be concrete. I know students who actually start tutoring juniors in their first year. Why don’t you try Algebrator? I am pretty sure, this program will help you. |

Algebrator truly is a masterpiece for us algebra students. As already said in the post above, it solves questions and it also explains all the intermediary steps involved in reaching that final solution. That way apart from knowing the final answer, we also learn how to go about solving questions right from the first step till the last, and it helps a lot in working on assignments. |

Interesting! I don’t have that much time to hire someone to teach me so I think this would be just fine. Is this something bought from a store? Do they have a site so that I can see more details about the software? |

I remember having problems with geometry, rational equations and decimals. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes - Algebra 1, Pre Algebra and Intermediate algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended. |
