simplify radical expressions

Hi Fellows! I have a severe problem regarding math and I was wondering if someone might be able to help me out a little. I have a algebra test pretty soon and even though I have been studying algebra seriously, there are still a some parts that cause a lot of stress, such as simplify radical expressions and y-intercept especially. Last week I had a session with a private tutor, but many things still remain vague to me. Can you suggest a good method of studying or a good tutor that you know already?

I possibly could help if you can be more specific and provide details about simplify radical expressions. A good program would be best option rather than a math tutor. After trying a number of program I found the Algebrator to be the best I have so far found. It solves any math problem from your book. It also explains all the steps (of the solution). You can just copy it as your homework assignment. However, you should use it to learn math, and simply not use it to copy answers.

I completely agree, Algebrator is great! I am much better in math since I used it, and I have the highest grades in the class! It helped me even with the most confusing math problems, like those on monomials or evaluating formulas. I definitely think you should try it .

I remember having problems with simplifying expressions, mixed numbers and graphing circles. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 2, Pre Algebra and Remedial Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
