I have a test tomorrow afternoon. But I’m stuck with problems based on maths/compound areas. I’m having problems understanding side-side-side similarity and graphing inequalities because I just can’t seem to figure out a way to crack problems based on them. I called my friends and I tried on the internet, but none of those activities did any good. I’m still trying but the time is running out and I can’t seem to get a hang of it. Can somebody please guide me? I really need some help from you guys for tomorrows test. Please do reply. |

Although I understand what your situation is, but if you could explain in greater detail the areas in which you are facing struggling, then I might be in a better position to guide you. Anyhow I have some advice for you, try Algebrator. It can solve a wide range of questions, and it can do so within minutes. And there’s more to come, it also gives a detailed step-by-step description of how it arrived at a particular answer. That way you don’t just solve your problem but also get to understand how to go about solving it. I found this program to be particularly useful for solving questions on maths/compound areas. But that’s just my experience, I’m sure it’ll be good for other topics as well. |

I agree, a good program can do miracles . I tried a few but Algebrator is the best. It doesn't make a difference what class you are in, I myself used it in Intermediate algebra and Remedial Algebra too, so you don't have to worry that it's not on your level. If you never used a program until now I can assure you it's very easy, you don't have to know anything about the computer to use it. You just have to type in the keywords of the exercise, and then the software solves it step by step, so you get more than just the answer. |

Thank you, I will check out the suggested program. I have never studied with any software until now, I didn't even know that they exist. But it sure sounds cool! Where did you find the program? I want to get it as soon as possible, so I have time to prepare for the exam. |

A truly piece of math software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar problems while solving linear equations, graphing lines and decimals. Just by typing in the problem from homeworkand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework would be ready. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 2, Basic Math and Pre Algebra. I highly recommend the program. |
