how to solve advanced algebra

I am in desperate need of help in completing a project in how to solve advanced algebra. I need to finish it by next week and am having a difficult time trying to figure out a few tricky problems. I tried some of the internet help sites but have not gotten what I want so far. I would be really grateful if anyone can assist me.
